Things to Do in Waikiki for a Day | Waikiki Beach has never been more fun

Feeling stuck on #Waikiki Beach? Probably not, but if you are looking for some fun then check out our favorite things to do in Waikiki for a perfect day on the beach.

Erica, Henry, and I took a day from sightseeing Oahu and Honolulu to get to know Waikiki Beach better. We found the best coffee shops in Waikiki, watched the surfers on Waikiki Beach, and then tried our hand at surfing the famous Waikiki break. I’m a horrible surfer but Waikiki Beach has a great break for a beginner.

There is so much more to do on Oahu! Finish your Oahu vacation planning with one itinerary download. Get local tips, ways to save, a step-by-step pre-travel testing program video, and 7 full days on Oahu.

  1. We’re in Waikiki for a couple of days then on to Aulani Disney tomorrow for the week. Love your channel!

  2. I love your itineraries but I can’t find one for babymooners. What would be a good list of things to do for pregnant women? Couples on their babymoon with a pregnant spouse/partner?

  3. Great videos guys! Planning our trip for later this year hopefully! Do you guys have a video on what to pack for a trip to Oahu (or anyplace in Hawaii)?

  4. You are the cutest couple ever and Henry is adorable.
MY family lives on the coast of NC. We've visited Hawaii about 14 times and can't wait to go back. Thank you again for the great videos, they bring back great memories.

  5. Gotta love to try surfing in Waikiki, well in my case it was more paddle boarding as I never actually got up. We liked the International Market Place (i heard its closed now) even though it was probably touristy. Gotta enjoy a Mai Tai or 6 on the beach

  6. Y'all really have a knack for creating beautiful videos. The drone shots were outstanding as were the shots of onshore when you were offshore. Great work!

  7. I'm going to Oahu next month and am binging your videos. Thanks for producing such high-quality and informative content!

  8. Want to go to Waikiki soon but the mask mandates on the beach make me nervous. How strict are they when you are on the beach? I see in this video you guys are not wearing your masks when laying out by the water.

  9. Aloha! I am born and raised in Hawaii <3 but of course I want to leave someday lol. I lived on the Big Island, Maui and Molokai. I now reside in Honolulu. Like all Hawaiians, I have lots of family all over the islands, but because of working, I don't see them often 🙁 I rarely get to the beach, I used to swim everyday on the Big Island. But Hawaii is my heritage and I do love it. I will leave someday, I am almost 50 yrs old. My parents sold their nice Kona house with coffee farm, and they moved in 2019, so it is my turn now. Great videos! E malama Pono!

  10. If guys can choose one place, neighborhood, town in all of Hawaii that you consider the best place to raise a family hitch would you choose?! Ok maybe top 3 😃😄

  11. This channel is really good! You guys are so lucky to live the life you do! Hopefully I'll get back to hawaii soon!

  12. Love your vids. Just got back a few days ago from Oahu. Loved it, great vacation even with covid. We stayed on the north shore

  13. Hello! If you had to choose between Oahu and the Big Island for a family vacation (with adult children), which would you pick? Thanks for your informative and fun videos!!

  14. Loved the video! I was looking online and couldn’t find any currently open sunset tours. Did you happen to see any open now?

  15. Love the video's. Promote supporting local instead of franchise if at all possible, especially during pandemic.

  16. I’m just so anxious to finally be able to move over there. There’s so much sacrifice to get there but it looks to be so worth it!

  17. Henry is a lucky little dude to be able to spend so much time in Hawaii with you guys. I love your videos. Thank you for keeping me informed. Be safe and enjoy.

  18. Leaving out coffee and Malasada's from Leonard's and not watching the green flash at sunset while sipping a mai tai on Waikiki beach is an affront to all the joys of being an Oahu Kama'aina.
